Many Lives Touched As Chukwuemeka Onyenucheya Foundation Is Officially Launched


    The launching and empowerment ceremony of CHUKWUEMEKA ONYENAUCHEYA FOUNDATION which took place on 5th January, 2021 at Nchara Akanu was graced by dignitaries such as the Honorable Member representing Ikwuano State Constituency at the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Stanley Nwabuisi, the LGA Chairman, Chief Stephen Mpamugo, his Deputy, Comr. Cokey Lordson Nwachukwu, HRH Eze (Dr.) M.H.O Okeanya, the Royal Father of the Community, Chairman Nchara Akanu Youth Forum (Lagos Branch) Mr. Chichebem Onyemaechi and other dignitaries from all walks of life.

    During the occasion while speaking to the audience, the Honourable Member Hon. Stanley Nwabuisi said that, “Mr. Chukwuemeka Onyenucheya has made his people proud, and that it is the first time such thing is happening in Nchara” He prayed that God continues to strengthen the initiator spiritually and financially so as to ensure the continuity of the Foundation’s objectives.”

    In the same vein, the Local Government Chairman, Chief Stephen Mpamugo, applauded the founder for looking after the widows and orphans. According to the chairman, “I want to appeal to all the beneficiaries here to encourage the Chukwuemeka Onyenucheya Foundation by appreciating whatever gets to them”. He concluded by saying that no matter how small whatever empowerment the Foundation was giving out, that Nchara Akanu people should appreciate it”.

    The LGA Chairman stressed that it is not easy to bring out such huge amount of money to purchase bags of rice, bags of salt, cartons of maggi, wrappers, cartons of indomie noodles, motorcycle, exercise books, etc. for the masses.

    The chairman continued, “When you get your share, admit that you have gotten. Maintain an attitude of gratitude, not just because of today’s programme, but also to all public office holders who are doing their best to serve their people”. He concluded.

    After the chairman’s speech, the items were distributed evenly among the kindreds of the village.

    The Founder further revealed that the Foundation will widen the general scope and geographical coverage every year; as plans have been concluded to start the scholarship scheme, entrepreneurship training, empowerment exercises and education at all levels in Ikwuano, Abia State and beyond.

    The Dignitaries, Royal father, Youth Leaders, Women Leader and other Titled Chiefs of Nchara Akanu thanked and prayed for the success for the Initiator and the Foundation.
